Ah ha !!

Now we know that the settings in Arachne.cfg _are_ correct for
communicating with 'the outside world' once the actual connection
has been made.

Would it be possible for you to visit that connection page of your
modem/router using Arachne and then hit 'F2' to email the
HTML/JavaScript to me at... glennmcc @ cisnet.com

Either myself or one the other members of the Arachne development team
might be able to decipher the JS and figure-out a way for Arachne to
send the correct string.
