Yes, but in Enhanced DR-DOS, this ability is built-in, so it can be
used even before the first driver loads. The other DOSes I know still
boot in black and white. Maybe there is a work-around in other DOSes,
but it would probably require that one loads ANSI.SYS before other
drivers, which means that it cannot be loaded high. Also, I am not
aware of any ANSI.SYS escape sequence that changes the colour of text
that is already on screen, like the BIOS output.
