[arachne] Re: D*** BasicLinux -documentation-

"perceieved user friendliness" is a good way to put it.
I've reinstalled windo$e for people because they can't
seem to get it right, or even don't know where to start.
If I or someone else didn't do it for them, they would
have to drive their computers 25 miles to Best Buy or
wherever, and pay between 50 to 80 dollars to have them
reinstall it for them. Last time I checked and this was
sometime ago, Best Buy was $50.00US even if you bought
the computer from them.

What is happening behind the icons in windows is a complete ridle to me

Personal experience shows this to be true with many people. Just having to
reinstall windows from scratch will leave many people with one or two peices
of hw that won't work with out some digging into how to's, etc. A lot of
the perceieved user freindiness is due to the fact that windows comes
installed on most computers.
