Might it be that you have a lack of documentation (or did not read the
manual)?
I often declared programs "worthless" because I could not get them
working. However other people do use them and if they give some helping
hand or comment these "worthless" programs became working for me too.
Even DOS often give me some headaches... lack of documentation :-((
Although I have several books on DOS none of them explains fully what
all the commands do...
Ray has to tell me the difference between > and >> in a command.
Ray told me that one can not call an .exe in a batch file.
Etcetera and so on...
What is happening behind the icons in windows is a complete ridle to me
and I think that will be the same with Linux.
