Yes, it runs. But it fills up before I have installed everything
I would like to try.
It's like the electric car with the 100 ft power cable. It
reaches its limit too soon to be of any real use, at least in the
initial install.
Now it has been explained that I should install it in its own
partition, and I intend to do that, just as soon as I can get
another HDD with some more spare room. Then I can test it
properly.

Yes, and that is the way I would prefer it to be, provided I
was warned of the shortcomings of that method.
The new user needs to know that before he even starts to play
with BL!

And I did not get that message until AFTER I had uploaded the

At my age, I need hard copy documentation that I can have next to
me while I experiment. My memory isn't good enough to read in a
file how to do something, then boot BL and try it out, especially
if there are many steps to it.
But this is way offtopic for this list. I think we should drop it
there.
