Bastiaan,
I have experienced no problems whatsoever in getting Arachne to work with
my old Toshiba 486 Satellite Pro 400 laptop.
It runs Window$ 95. I can get Arachne to work inside of the "DOS-box" when
I use Dial-up-Networking or epppd or lsppp and an external modem or an old
model Nokia cell phone as a modem. Also I can get Arachne to work just
fine in real DOS mode by using an external modem or my old model Nokia cell
phone. My PCMCIA modem card not work at all in real DOS mode, but it does
work with Arachne running in a "DOS-box" and when using Dial-up-Networking.
