Well, if you've made your mind up ...

However, if you still have some interest in Arachne, _if_
only you can just get it working, do read on ...

There are only two circumstances I'm aware of that would
make it impossible for you to get Arachne online :

1. You have a 'winmodem' (controller-less or soft modems).
2. Your modem connection is via USB.

Do either of these apply to you? If not, describe your
setup and what goes wrong using Arachne; I'm sure we
here can sort your problems out.

For example, if you last tried a few months ago, perhaps
your problem was with DNS-lookup, in which case this is
now fixed, just install 1.85, 1.85J1 or Ray's core (not
sure if Ray has a web site where you can download the
binary, but I'm sure he'd be happy to e-mail it to you;-).

Sure, we all need a "bloatware" browser for such things
as JS, but for most uses, Arachne works quite well, and
avoids nasty surprises.

The title says it all ..........
I never got Arachne to work (months ago) and I'd like to get off this list.
I went to the site and submitted a request to be removed and got a response
saying I would be removed but the messages just keep comming..........
I also tried several months ago........
Isn't there ANY way to get off aside from changing my EMail address ??????
