Thanks, Brian. I now have LOCATE which works very well -- it searches
every active drive on the system! -- and FINDIT which I have yet to
check out.
BTW, XDIR in DR-DOS, which was recommended to me for this job, does a
completely different function, according to DOSBOOK and also as tested
by me.
