Did so and it did not work (leider ;) )
After a whole day reading and googling I think I know what may be wrong with
the Arachne setup.
Bootp, DHCP gives the same effect as using the IP address 192.168.2.1
In the Router log I can see that a DHCP is offered to the Arachne box. For
some reason it has changed now to 103 from 102 because I assume that the
address 102 was reserved for a certain time because of the earlier requests.
The DHCP Offer seems to be not accepted by the Arachne setup. I have read that
a DHCP Request has to be send then and that then some other information is
exchanged. From googling I assume that there is something in the offer
sequence that does not fit in with the Arachne box, after which the offer is
repeated several times. Some linux guys had such a problem and they were able
to make it visible and solve it with a linux program. That does not help me
any further for the moment though ;(.
Also looked into some advanced wattcp programs such as wat32 but left that for
the moment as I do not want to play with DOS32 stuff on a fully functional
Drdos 7.3 setup.

Next thing could be to put an extra card in my Linux box and try to setup an
server for the dosbox but I have no idea if that would solve my problems with
Arachne :(. And I was not even able to make an home network with Linux boxen
so I would abstain from setting up a homenetwork for the moment.

Any other ideas? Gruss
