I have DSL since April 2001, and used it with Arachne ever since.

Compared to the trouble I went through to set up the dial-up connection,
setting up Arachne to work with DSL was surprisingly easy. I only needed
to load the packet driver for my Ethernet card and configure the PPPoE
driver (PEPA), and it worked.

If Arachne (or rather WatTCP) would not have that bandwidth cap at cca
30 KB/s, it would be working flawlessly.
