Thanks for the recommendation Glenn.
I just now downloaded it and installed it.
In "preferences" I found that this ad-on is enabled by default.
Later I will post to the list to let you all know how well this
ad-on works. I really hate pop-ups, especially the ones that are
sticky-stays and won't close. Those kinds of pop-ups should be
absolutely outlawed. Also they should outlaw web-sites that
install, or appear to be installing software without the user's
permission.
I sure hope it works to end my problem of "freezes and creahes"[sic.].
