That explains why I remember 30 feet of depth being pounded into my head, rather than the 32 feet that was later stated to be correct. The diving we did at sea level was always in salt (ocean) water. It also explains why the forumlae for computing decompression tables at altitude were more complex. :)


And yes, there are a lot of people on this list with a lot more experience and education in multiple fields, rather than just code grinding. <GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG> I think that ability to think in ways different from each other is one reason why suggestions and solutions are wide ranging and potentially more effective than "in the box" techies might produce.
