There is an APM for Arachne that renders each page of the PDF as a bitmap
(page1.bmp, page2.bmp, etc.) in Arachne cache, and that is a fully graphical
method. It requires an installation of GhostScript for DOS, and can be tricky
to set up, but it works extremely well - I use it a lot.

Regards,
        Ron

PS: I also didn't need to have 6 MB of attachments with each of two email
accounts I hold that are subscribed to the Arachne list - especially on dial-up.

Please don't do that again. :)
