Arachne at FreeLists---The Arachne Fan Club!
I'd like help figuring out the best available provision for viewing PDF
files under FreeDOS and perhaps with Arachne.
The XPDF project seems nearly ideal. It provides for converting PDF's with
images to HTML, but there does not seem to be a DOS port of that work.
I know of two Arachne plug-ins: PDFHTM.APM and XPDF091.APM. Both render to
text only. Both only seem to work off-line: You download a PDF and then
locate and open them with a file:// URL protocol. Both are based on XPDF
v2.0. Anyone know if they work equally well? Anyone know how to edit
MIME.CFG so they work on-line to open a PDF when you click its link?
Anyone have a better suggestion?
