[arachne] Bad email... Ray's solution

Hi to all,

For some weeks nothing about the bad email problem on these lists.
Just because I was waiting for a bad email to test Ray's core.

Well... the new core itself did not stop the bad mails but...
Ray has build a little extra popup screen is something is wrong with an
email download.

If for instance the download counter or progress bar stops you can press
the 'escape' key an a pop up screen comes:

I = quit the download ang go to inbox
C = continue
S = skip the message
D = delete the message

I used Arachne 1.61 to trap a bad email and finaly there was one:
#6 of 8 messages.
After #6 stuck the downloading I pressed Alt+H to hang up the phone.
Message #6 was downloaded but Arachne did not see any 'end of file' so
message #7 did not come through.
My provider does not delete the messages in the box until the last
message is marked for deletion... so all messages are still at the
provider until the next time downloading.
But the bad #6 is still there and will stuck again... again... again.

Now 1.89 with Ray's core was fired up and it stopped after #6.
"Esc" brought up the pop up screen and I choose "S" for SKIP.

#6 was skipped, not deleted but placed at the end of the download row.
All downloaded correctly and all messages were deleted exept #6.

Later that evening I downloaded again... 4 messages now.
Stuck again and skipped again... the bad email moved to the end of the
session but still there.

Next session soon afterwards... just one message: the bad one.
Now I did choose "D" for DELETION and the message was deleted; not from
my inbox but at the provider.
So the next time I go for new mail the bad one should not be there.
And if there might be a new one: I will not experiment with it but press
"D" for DELETION at once.
