Lester,
The "standard" installation directory
is (somedrive)\arachne. Anytime one starts
using non-default paths in a setup it increases
the chance for problems. Nobody else on this
list has reported ever having any problem with
"backspace" as a hotkey for History. So, something
is different in your setup from everyone else who
has reported no problem. As far as I know, no one
else has History.lst in d:\arc\ ....so....that would be
a good place to start checking. If you edit the arachne.cfg
as I described with a W$doze/M$ft editor and only
change what I described it should not change your
homepage. The line I gave you is the one that
works in my arachne.cfg.
