I am aware this is a missing feature and I can live with that. B/W BMP's
are converted here to .GIF first using picture view.

In trying to reproduce this I viewed some wide BMP's in download and
cache directory and all of the image could be seen by using the slide
bar at the bottom of the screen, even the converted PDF's.
However: viewing incomming mail in the inbox just gives part of the
BMP's as the slide bar does not work in the inbox... not for bmp's I
mean. GIF's are all right.
So JPG is converted to GIF and not BMP. It seems coversion from JPG to
GIF is a bit slower than converting to BMP... but I never did a time
check on this.
Perhaps i can do some HTML scripting to view BMP's in the cache or
download directory to get the whole picture...?
