I have done all steps except step 6 I am not very sure.
My VGA card is i810. I saw in /etc/vga/libvga.config it will
autodetect the chipset. But I have tried to force it to i740, vesa,
and VGA (one at a time off course), but it still could not launch. May
be it is a bug on svgalib for i810? I will try on another card soon,
just in case it is i810 bug.

I tried your suggestion to install svgalib-bin but still it could not launch.

I also check there is svgalib.ko but there is no svgalib_helper.ko. I
check using modprobe -l | grep svga. When I tried modprobe -l | grep
helper, only xt_helper.ko is available.

I will figure out how to have svgalib_helper.ko loaded and any hints
would be appreciated.
