  Certainly not !  Quite the reverse.  Arachne IS the best DOS browser.

   Nor that, either !  With Arachne's present capabilities she is the
best graphical browser for DOS.

   But put Arachne into Linux, and add those extra capabilities freely
available in Linux, and she would really shine !
