Obviously. I said that people might regard a 486 too valuable to waste
it on Arachne, but for older systems, it might be a viable alternative
to throwing it away.

Can't remember your own words? No problem, I have included the relevant
part of your previous mail in which you clearly said that your distro
needs SVGA and a 486.

If it needs SVGA, it obviously does not work with standard VGA, q.e.d.

Some guys? Is this more or less than 0.01%? So I presume it is okay
if some guys have to buy new graphics cards, but demanding that they
unload that "big TSRs" is asking too much?

Ah, so limiting the choice of hardware means "simplifying things" to
you. Sounds like what Microsoft does with Windows, telling people that
they have to replace their hardware when they upgrade to the latest
version.

Well said.
