No, that would not be why I've spent so much time on this. However,
one must focus ones resources where they can do the most good. I
expect that the trimmed down core will give more memory and run faster
for the 99.99% of users who don't need CGA so that's my desision.

I have, however much of the code is quite fine and the basic structure
is the same, so I can steal code quite easily.

Udo, listen, all I'm really good at it optimizing and streamling and
making things consistant. I have very little knowledge of things outside
what I see in the code I'm working on. I take a 'black box' of code
and just make it a better black box but I have no idea how to, say,
make a DPMI port or a Linux port or add IRC or anything like that.
That's why I could use someone like you who is a knowlegable
programmer. By myself all I can do is make it run faster and use
less memory.
