Ah, I suppose since there are also very few Arachne users left, it is
okay to delete the code altogether.

What is this project all about if not providing a browser for systems
that have been left to their own devices by the software industry?

Arachne already has problems on new hardware, why on earth would anyone
want to make the scope of hardware that it is able to run on even
smaller?

Besides, compiling a version for a 386 is quite different from removing
code; anyone with a Borland C compiler can compile his own 8086 version,
but few have the technical knowledge to re-add support for graphics
cards that has been removed or is broken.

So I disagree with Michael Polak, so what? I disagree with him for
almost as long as I have been using Arachne, mostly because he thinks
that writing a web browser for DOS was a complete waste of his time.

If you think that Arachne needs a rewrite, then why do you not go about
and really rewrite the damn thing? You obviously didn't rewrite Arachne
either because if you had done this, you would be unable to use the
patches that the others come up with.

Neither does all your bragging about your version and whining about the
lack of people helping you with your code.

Since you already told us that you can work with your sources ten times
faster than we with ours, you shouldn't have any problems, anyway.
