 I finaly got Arachne for Linux working in my tweaked SW7.1 by setting the
chipset to VESA, and it loaded and surfed a little. Kept getting into
loops when web pages have graphics, then locked up tight. Had to invoke a
second root console and "killall arachne-svgalib" to clear it.

 But it farkled the other graphic console displays, e.g. MPlayer, so I
set it all back the way it was.
