Yes, it works, but as I said, the initialization took about 15 
seconds, and after a minute or two, Arachne initializes again. 

I would prefer to initialize only once with tcpinfo, extract the 
settings from the output and fill them as static configuration
into Arachne. So she would not initialize again. 

But I suppose the dhcp server would like to renew the address
in certain intervals, otherwise the IP address will proably expire. 
Am I correct? 

BTW: The tcpinfo.exe from Glenn's download directory still 
does not retrieve the IP address from the DHCP server. My 
younger version of tcpinfo.exe does the job, but takes approximately
the same time as Arachne for initialization. The huge (1MB) 
tcpinfo.exe from the WATTCP-32 website gives the info immediately.
