Cal, Ray and others,
The primary thing to always keep in mind about OOK files is:
OOK files are actually DOS BATCH programs for calling any
external application (such as FTP-WIZ, PopMail PC, DW, etc.)
What you do is copy a BAT file to the OOPS subdirectory of
your Arachne installation. Rename it to somefile.ook
if it were named somefile.bat, then Arachne will display
the OOK file as an icon in Your Applications. You can even
assign an icon to be used following the basic format below
by editing the file WWWMAN.CFG with your editor:
POPMAIL.OOK MAIL05.IKN
WIZLYNX.OOK HTML.IKN
Then save the changed WWWMAN.CFG and the next reload of
the My Applications page will display the desired icon!
EEK files are similar, but call small external exe files.
