Canada has been the biggest supplier of oil to the US for the last
eight years. Followed by Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Nigeria.
Canada also supplies over 80% of the natural gas used in the US. Iraq
now follows Angola.
Canada sells so much oil to the US that the Canadian dollar is now worth
more than the US dollar. First time in thirty years or so. Alberta is now
booming with oil money. Big labor and housing shortage. If you show up
there you can get fifteen bucks an hour working at a McDonald's. But
you'll have to sleep in a tent or find a floor to sleep on.
