David,
All list members' email addresses are "XX'd" over to prevent
email harvesting by spammers.  Also, I have the list setup
to not display email addresses to anyone except members.
What a spammer would get, let say on my email address, is:
wizard57m@xxxxxxxxxxx
and that's all.  The only way the list members addresses could
be harvested is if someone deliberately sabatouged the list by
joining, and saving everyone's email address.  I don't know of
too many spammers willing to go to that much trouble for email
addresses...they just by CDs full of potential email addresses 
from other spammers, hehe!
