[arachne] Arachne 1.85 truncates emails while downloading from POP server

Hi list,

here is another email problem I have discovered, and this one looks much
more serious than the one with the large emails:

I found that very often when downloading a mail from the POP3 server,
Arachne 1.85 fails to download the whole message, thereby truncating it.
From what I have seen, the losses range from a single character to
several lines to several kilobytes missing from the end of the mail.
It does not happen every time, and not with every mail - so far, it
seems to have happened mostly with emails sent by Mozilla, which might
be mere coincidence - but it definetely happens to me several times a
day. I have confirmed this to be a problem with Arachne - as opposed to
one with my ISP - since the mails were still intact and completely
downloadable when I logged into my mail account with telnet.

I cannot remember when I started to experience this problem, but I am
sure that it did not happen with v1.83.
