Hi Sam,

The next version of Arachne will be called 1.75 (we have odd version
numbers; even version numbers are reserved for M.P.). This will be
released as soon as we've managed to combine the work of various
contributors, who are presently involved both in improving the code
maintainability (eg. readability) and enhancing its functionality.

Until we are ready to integrate everything for a 1.75 release, I've decided
to use the 1.73Jx designation to identify my enhanced cores, and to
make them available for alpha/beta testing (not just for testing however,
I hope the various enhancements and fixes are of benefit to users). This
designation allows me to do this without the potential for "clashing"
version numbers, particularly if other developers decide to release other
modified cores for alpha/beta testing.
