No reaction.
I get quite fast the page which says:
Can't open connection
Possible reasons,
remote host refused request for connection
and the proposal of hitting R.
That R brings back the same page over and over.
And no reaction on the router/modem status page which I follow on the
192.168.2.100 computer running Suse linux.
If I run netsetup in Baslin 3.0 on the Arachne box I get immediately a
connection. Looked at the command in that netsetup and it only consist of two
lines:
insmod 8390 ## needed for ne, ne2k-pci
udhcpc ##if DHCP server is on the network
That at least proves that the machine can be connected and that there is
nothing wrong with the network card, cable connetion etc..
