first, get a Ping tool for DOS to see if you have set the gateway
address right. Nothing will go if you cannot even connect to the router.
Second, check what part of your network does the dialing. If you have to
enter your user name as part of the router setup, it means that the
router does the dialing, and you only need a simple TCP/IP connection
from your networking card to the router.
If the router does not do the dialing work, you most likely need a PPPoE
or similar connection, so you need a driver like PEPA that does this for
you.
