[arachne] Re: A Pharmacist Says "Thank You!"

What I don't understand is the need today for all that training in
pharmacy when just about all the pharmacist does is put pills in
a bottle and see that the insurance is billed. Of course, a good
pharmacist is very knowledgeable and can lookout for drug interactions
and make reccomedations regarding non-prescription treatments. But in
Canada and the US he/she cant prescribe anything. That has to be done
by an MD or someone directly under an MD's supervision like a
Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practictioner.
