Over the years I've heard of several who started with an old turntable as the platform for a home made z/stern. Mounting the bells on that, with the striker off to the side would seem to work well. The first time my wife heard a z/stern in a concert she put her hand up in the shape of a phone (thumb/little finger outstretched), leaned over to me and said, "Hello." <grin> Merry Christmas everyone. Any ideas on how to start? I am thinking of putting together a 9 bell and interfacing it with my Rodgers 925 Thank you
