Once we went onto the extended warranty, we get a $100 'deductible'
charge with every service call-beyond that is covered by the warranty.
We pay $100 per month for the extended warranty and wouldn't live
without
it-a non warranty visit by a tech we were told would easily be $300
or more
PLUS all the parts, etc.
So it's a small price to pay.
But, as others are noting-you shouldn't have to pay a dime for
initial problems
from day one or repeat calls for the same problem!
