[amayausers] Re: specialty wooden or plastic hoop size

Hi Roland,
I had a 12 x 6 inch Durkee hoop for my Toyota; it was double height and you can
use it
with crossways or lengthwise as it has 2 sets of brackets. I loved it and used
it more
than any other hoop. I intend to purchase another for the Amaya. They are
about $65,
usually free shipping. I can't think of the site right this minute, but they
always have
ads in the EMB/Stitches mags.

Subject: [amayausers] specialty wooden or plastic hoop size

I'm doing a lot of sweater and jacket backs-and hate to waste so much
backing using the 14" x 11" hoop when all I need is something about 12" x 6"
inch or 10" x 4"....
The new Melcomart catalog lists some sizes in the EMC oval that are closer
to what I need-and I see a 'conversion bracket to use EMC hoops on Amaya'.
Anyone used this or other size hoops?
Most of our jacket backs have been in the 9-10" wide range, but not 11 or
17"! Need that 'inbetween' size range.
Roland
