As for small items that you can't hoop in a regular hoop, would the
clamping system work or is it better to just use sticky paper with a
regular hoop?

Dean,
I bought and use the 7n1 fast frames. For some of the things I do that
WAS my only choice. I do not like the sticky backing as it really gums
up the needles. When using the fast frames, I usually use clamps or
clips to hold the item. If I were buying something NOW where there IS a
choice I would probably pick the clamping system as it seems it should
do the job without the backing issue. Remember though I have not tried
the clamping system.

Dean,
I'm going to own up here. I bought the fast frames and frankly find them
pretty much a waste of money. While there have been a few projects they
did
make easier, after some experience I could have done them without the
fast
frames. The adhesive is not strong enough to hold much of anything. If I
had
it to do over I would have gone for a clamping system.
