Tell the client you are NOT a 'secretary' for the company (nicely of =20
course) OR suggest that you do 'promotion fullfillment' -I have =20
catalogs from several suppliers that do that, anything from 'gift =20
baskets' to individualized shirts, trophies, whatever. To get 'this =20
service' (which is exactly what you are doing for the customer) COSTS =20=
THEM A SERVICE CHARGE above and beyond the normal cost of the item. =20
Since you are doing THEIR work, charge for it! Be upfront-tell her by =20=
sending in 'separate' orders for you to combine, it takes you just as =20=
much time as if each 'addition' was a new order or new customer. You =20
can't even order the goods (unless you have it all in stock) until =20
she finishes gathering all the orders-so why should you have to deal =20
with each one as it gets to you? Tell them- ONE order, ONE invoice, =20
ONE price...and save some time. Time =3D $$ and that's what we are in =20=
business for!
