Another thing you can do is go to the maintenance menu and in there you are 
able to rotate the hook 1 or 10 degrees at a time to slowly move it around as 
you pull material out.

You can also hit the e-stop or turn off the machine and reach up in the middle 
of the arm and grab the round shaft and manually turn it to rotate the hook.  I 
have gotten quite a few bags and ladies shirt sleeves cause in the hook before. 
 Its rate that it doesn't ruin the shirts but the bags usually come out ok.
