[amayausers] Re: pricing for heat press items.

Hi Veena,

We do screen printing and use the heat transfer machine mainly for numbers and
letters on shirts and athletic jerseys etc. We charge $.50 per 2" letter when
doing names, and we charge $2.50 per shirt for 8" numbers (1 digit or 2). We
go don't go down in price for a 1" letter as it's harder to set up. We do go
down to $2.25 for 6" and 4" numbers. Double color numbers are $4.50 per shirt.
We also have a minimum charge for any order of $7.50 which covers if someone
wants one shirt done and we have to heat up the machine for it.

Hope this gives you an idea. We don't do the heat transfer pictures that you
can get at the specialty shops.

  Veena,

I agree with Ron Vinyard, Howard Graphics (http://www.howardsportswear.net/ )
are great to work with and the pricing is very fair.

As for a heat press, you can't go wrong with the Cadillac of Heat Presses
"The Hotronix" 16" X 20" from Stahl's.

I think I paid around $1500.00 for mine a few years ago. And tech support is
great from Stahl's. I did have a heating problem that they walked me through it
and had it fixed in 20 minutes.

I'm sorry I misread your post and thought you were looking

  for suppliers instead of pricing.

      Hello all,

Does anybody know of a link where I can get some information regarding
pricing for heat pressed items for athletics. If somebody on this line does do
this kind of work, would you be willing to share the information with me. If
you want to send me a private email that is fine too. This is my first job
with heat press and trying to figure out the cost and everything else.

        Thanks for all your help.
