[amayausers] needle question

Hi guys, its me again with another question.
I on occasion have had to change needles out for metallic thread and needle 
size.  All 3 times when I tried to put them back they wont work, therefore I am 
down to 13 working needles.  I have read instructions, used different 
needles, but still not working.  Is there a trick to this, that I am missing?  
They 
look fine, but won't sew the first stitch.
