Thanks for all your help, I looks like my grandaughter will just have to wait 
on her "my dad is a marine" hat. daggone it.  The last time I had a tech here 
there was no charge, is that still the same?  I got my first machine in July 
2002 and this machine in Feb 2003.  I don't think i want to put any more money 
into this.  I read somewhere that melco will pay for parts and labor, but the 
customer must pay for the tech's travel time (I may and hope I am mistaken) 
since I believe Hugo is my closest tech at about 5 hours away.
