Naw Im a 25 yr old spring chicken just gone premature grey that=92s all. =
Thanks for all the monitor feed back guys. I used have a 21 inch CRT
that died when I digitized full time and had an operator run the
machines.=20
Any way these new flat panels even 17" run rings around the old crts
I got myself a new little laptop to run the Amaya as a dedicated
system.

Can still see the needle hole with out glasses but I must admit I may
need glasses in the near future

Anand, when you get to be ancient and decrepit like some of us 'over =20
45' folks are...the larger the monitor, the easier it is to do the =20
editing!
I'm running a 17" on my computer for the amaya, but on all my macs =20
I've gone to 19"-and I don't have to do anywhere NEAR as fine editing =20
with my sign and screenprinting work! With the program toolbars, etc. =20
in Design shop, even with a 17" monitor you end up with about 6-8" of =20
'active' window to zoom in and work on the design. When you have to =20
zoom right in to find stitches and move fine points-the bigger the =20
monitor the easier it is.
I'm hopefully taking some spare change for christmas and buying my =20
Amaya a bigger monitor before I have to use reading glasses AND a =20
magnifying glass!
Resolution does't mean much if the monitor isn't big enough to see =20
all of the design in full size!
