[amayausers] Re: machine & software problems

Hi Steve,
As far as I know all Amayas have helix-coils in the carriage, and they are a
problem from time to time. I have replaced two carriages due to the
problem. The coils are better than just tapping the aluminum. Constant
use on aluminum threads won't last long. Several people have told me that
they have been able to put new coils in. I believe it takes a 4mm coil but
I'm not sure. As far as your software problem, I can't help. I have always
had trouble from time to time loading RSA files, regardless of the version.
