My machine problems have been solved hopefully. The one that was having Z axis
errors was because some of the components on the main board were not snapped in
place. They, of course, had vibrated loose. Also the tech showed me the proper
way to oil the X & Z axis which is a little different than what it steps you
through on the 2,000,000,000 stitch oiling. He said to move to needle 16 and
then slide the oiler tube along the channel until it stops and then oil. He
also said if you can't wait the 5 minutes go ahead and oil it and run but make
sure you repeat the procedure at the end of the day so the oil can soak the
felt pads. The second machine problems are because the gears are not meshing
together properly on the thread feed rollers. Then my upgrade problems were
because of missing files. The download did not copy over all the files. But I
did want to pass along the info on the oiling procedure.
