I used to design and sew clothes (mostly Indian (not American Indian))
clothes just for a hobby during my engineering days and my rule of thumb is
like that of a carpenter; check twice ; cut once. If I made a mistake and
cut the garment wrong, I would not be able to fix it back and therefore am
pretty careful about it.
I still need to bring the lettering down and don't know how to do that. The
bottom of the lettering is about 0.75 from the brim of the visor. I want to
know how to reduce this.
Any ideas.
Best Regards,
Veena Viswanath.

Apparently Ron and I both have selected the wrong hoop in the past :)
Heh.

Veena:
I am sure you are already doing this - but check to make sure you have the
right hoop selected. Even change it to the CCF and then back to WACF again.
On the CCF / Green Cap frames, we use them for visors all the time with no
problems. If you want, you can send me the design and I will try to load it
up in our CCF and see what happens. :)

I tried that, but it was not of much use. If I set something up on Design
shop and take it amaya, it does not seem to take the hoop settings. Like
for example, I moved the design down in DS and the design showed up centered
on OS.
There is quite a bit of room on the visor, but for some reason, it seems to
show out of bounds when I trace it.
Any other suggestions?
Best Regards,
Veena Viswanath.

Veena,
I have found that I have to move the design off-center (down) in DS prior
to bringing it to OS. If the design is centered I cannot get enough room to
get it on the visor before I exceed the hoop.
