An easy trick to 'see' when threading needles that we learned in
training and first from Dick (service tech)...
cut a flat piece of white paper to fit exactly in the 'trough' behind
the grabber teeth. When you move the bar back to rethread a needle,
the paper reflects the light right onto the needles and also gives
you a perfect 'white' background to see the needle and thread
against. Makes it so much easier to see what you are doing, and also
the white contrast against the needle makes it easier to spot a bent
or backwards needle.
