Hi,
I'm trying out some different techniques. I embroidered a fringe design but
I don't know which thread and how I have to cut it loose. Can anyone help ?
I also want to try out a 3dfoam pattern. But unlike other 3d-patterns that
only consist of satin stitches, this pattern also contains fill stitches.
What do you do in such a case ? Embroidering with fill stitches over 3d foam
will not work, I gues. So do I have to embroider the fill stitches first
and then place the 3d foam before doing the satin stiches ? If yes, can you
stick the 3d foam on the fill stitches, will it not make the yarn filthy ?
I'm also looking for an embroidery card with some small lettering on it.
Doesn't matter what text. It's only to use for a test. I'm having troubles
digitizing small lettering but since embroidering is also new to us, I want
to embroider first some small lettering of which I know it's properly
digitized. If we don't get a good result we know that bad embroidering is
the cause and not poor digitizing. After finding the correct way to
embroider, then I can concentrate on digitizing. Does anyone have such a
test for me or could refer me to a freebee-site where I can find some
properly digitized small text ? with small text I mean 1/3 inch and
smaller.
Thanks !
Cindy
