[amayausers] Re: favorite fonts in Design Shop?

Hi all,
Most of my of my lettering has been .75 or larger up until recently, all
was OK.
Mono-Corvisa TTF and Melco Script mostly.
Smaller lettering (.3 and below) seems to take much longer to perfect
and all of the
settings (comp, density, feed, etc) all need to be trialed and tested
for best sew out.
My customers think the sew quality is OK, I think it looks /terrrible/.

I've spent hours (my wife says days) trying backing, toppings, smaller
needles, new rollers,
different thread types, fonts, etc.
The best I have found is Micro Blk LG CP:
.15-.3 sizes (code sheet says no less than .4)
center (12pt) or edge (12 pt 55%) underlay depending on the size
135% pull comp
5.8 density
Works OK on most fabrics.

Regular Micro Block CP has way too many variations in letter (especially
E, B, R, I, A's)
I've tried other CP fonts with not much luck.

I'd be on board for a tutorial on the subject. or if there are any
machine upgrades to help.

Hope this helps,
