[amayausers] Re: directors chair backs

I would Imagine if I owned a Yacht and I was getting a special chair
made with my yacht's name on it,
I wouldn't want to see anything on the back.

I'm wondering...not having done any of the chair backs but have had requests
IF I could find the chairs at a decent price...
if you color matched your bobbin thread to the chair back-then the backside
image would not show up nearly as much....would that be easier than having
to sew on a second layer of fabric after the embroidery is done? Otherwise
you have to take the time to cut, hem, and sew on the 'backing' and make
sure your edge sewing doesn't show up on the 'good' side...
Or what about using the same color fabric as your backing?
The 'commercial' company I have a catalog on that does these in quantity
embroiders so you see it from in front of the chair, from the back you see
the reverse image...so they don't 'cover' it up.
Just wondering if these options would be a time and $$ saver or not.
