    Thanks LuAnn!  The backs are canvas.   The work to be done is for a yacht 
club.  There are about 125 backs that need to be done.  I was contemplating 
sending out the work to be done, but would like to tackle the job myself.  
Luckily, we were at a Pier One Outlet store the other day and they were selling 
director chair backs for a dollar!  So I have a few "testers" to experiment 
with before sewing on the clubs chair backs.

      I did several this summer. I used a tear away and 75/11 sharp. The backs 
are canvas, correct?

      Looked great. 

      Hoop size was based on design size.
      Most of the time it was the Rectangle 11 X 14.
